A Residential Yoga Retreat
The Slow Harvest
A six-night residential retreat at Wild · Jana, Himachal Pradesh, timed to the apple harvest at 7,200 feet.
October 5 – 11, 2026
The Retreat
Six nights in a working apple orchard, timed to the harvest.
Every morning begins with yoga. Every evening closes with a quieter session led by Yashashree Kale. The hours between belong to the orchard, the forest, the sauna and the stream.
Everything is included; you arrive, and the mountain does the rest.
The Orchard
A working orchard that sets the clock for the week.
Wild sits inside a family-farmed apple orchard. You pick alongside the family that farms this land, then cook the fruit down into jam to carry home.
Your Facilitator

Yashashree Kale
@hipsteryasha
Yashashree has taught yoga for over seven years, trained in Sivananda's classical hatha tradition, and also teaches vinyasa, yin and Animal Flow. She keeps her groups small — that is where the real connection happens, and the bonds formed on a retreat like this one tend to last.
She is vegan and a devoted lover of animals; she co-founded Guardian of the Purr, a pet-sitting company for cats, dogs and every creature that deserves good care. Keeping this retreat vegan is personal to her — everyone is welcome, but if you are vegan, this one is truly yours.
Hope to see you there.

Wood-Fired Sauna
Heat, then the cold of the stream.
Sessions run through the afternoons — cedar warmth and a window full of forest, used at your own gentle pace.
The Cold Plunge
A stone pool, fed by the mountain.
Step out of the sauna and into cold, clear water on the orchard terrace. Take it, or don't — the afternoon is yours.
Under the Stars
October gives Jana its clearest skies of the year.
On Day Five the terrace is left free after dinner — no plan but the sky over the orchard.

The Forest
A morning through the deodar, lunch on the trail.
Curated hikes lead out from the orchard into the cedar forest — unhurried, with a picnic carried along.
The Long Table
Every meal, gathered at one table.
Three meals a day, plus chai, coffee and fresh juices — a set menu of plant-based mountain food, eaten together.
Day Six · The Farewell
A Himachali Dham, served on brass at one long table.
The retreat closes with our plant-based take on the traditional Kullu feast — course after course of local cooking, eaten seated in a row from a brass thali. The region's oldest way of marking an occasion.
The Stay
Fifteen guests, one property.

The outside washrooms are handcrafted in stone and wood, a short walk under the trees. On purpose.
