Question 1

Where exactly are you located?

Accepted Answer

Wild is in a five-acre apple orchard above Jana village in Himachal Pradesh, at about 7,200 ft. Use our designated meeting point in Jana for arrival.

Question 2

How do I reach the orchard?

Accepted Answer

Park at our designated meeting point in Jana. It is operated separately; our team meets Wild guests there for the orchard walk and luggage transfer. The uphill walk usually takes about 15–30 minutes.

Question 3

How do I get to Jana?

Accepted Answer

Jana is about an hour from Manali by road. Kullu-Manali Airport at Bhuntar is usually 1–1½ hours away. We can help arrange a taxi from the airport, Manali or Kullu; message us before you travel.

Question 4

Is the walk suitable for everyone?

Accepted Answer

The final approach is an uneven uphill forest path. If you have mobility concerns, injuries or any uncertainty about the terrain, speak with us before booking so we can help you decide whether the stay is suitable.

Question 5

What accommodation can I book?

Accepted Answer

There are three private rooms — Moonhouse, Sunroom and Twilight Room — plus two shared dorms: Sunflower (mixed, six beds) and Milky Way (female-only, four beds). You can combine several rooms and dorm beds in one reservation.

Question 6

What is included?

Accepted Answer

Every stay includes breakfast, lunch, dinner, evening snacks, chai and coffee, one wood-fired sauna session per day, cold plunge access, the guided orchard walk and luggage carry-in.

Question 7

What is the minimum stay?

Accepted Answer

Wild has a two-night minimum. Only the owner can approve a one-night exception for a manually arranged reservation.

Question 8

Can a child share our private room?

Accepted Answer

We may be able to arrange one extra bed for a child aged 14 or under at ₹2,000 per night, including meals. Share the child’s age and your dates before booking so we can confirm the arrangement.

Question 9

What is the food like?

Accepted Answer

We cook breakfast, lunch and dinner from scratch with local and seasonal ingredients. Tell us before booking about allergies or dietary requirements so we can confirm what the kitchen can prepare.

Question 10

Do I have to use the sauna or cold plunge?

Accepted Answer

No. Both are included, and you can decide whether to use them. Nothing here has to become an activity list.

Question 11

Can I work from Wild?

Accepted Answer

Wi-Fi, mobile reception and power can vary in the mountains. If your trip depends on video calls or a particular network, ask us about the current connection before booking.

Question 12

Can I bring a pet?

Accepted Answer

Please speak with us before booking. Forest access and local wildlife affect what we can safely accommodate, so a pet is not automatically included in an online reservation.

Question 13

What are check-in and check-out times?

Accepted Answer

Check-in is from 1 pm and check-out is by 11 am. Share your arrival time before setting off so our team can meet you for the walk up.

Question 14

How does payment work?

Accepted Answer

Online reservations require full payment. For a booking arranged directly with us, we may send a request that allows an advance payment; the remaining balance will be clearly recorded and due as agreed.

Question 15

What's the cancellation policy?

Accepted Answer

For stays at Wild, the refund window depends on how far ahead you book. If check-in is more than 30 days after you book, cancel within 7 days of booking for a full refund. If check-in is 8–30 days after you book, cancel within 2 days of booking for a full refund. Bookings made within 7 days of check-in are non-refundable. Cancellations outside the applicable window are non-refundable. Contact us to cancel; cancelling does not automatically issue a refund.
